Medium: Video Animation, Music Video Description: I wanted my video to welcome the viewer. With the help of Adobe After Effects, the video has gained a goofy feeling. Maybe a little too goofy. The reason why I picked this type of style for the video was to lower the seriousness of my topic, smoking cannabis. Smoking weed has become a lifestyle for people. One common use of cannabis is to relieve stress. The video footage is me acting as if I’m working on my homework or side project. The use of color changing backgrounds, symbolize the different parts of the day(morning, noon, afternoon, night), to show that I have been working all day. The stress is building. By the near end of the video, at the end of the day, I add an abstract version of a smoke session. Then I head back to work.
