The brothers of the Beta Theta Pi would like to invite you to participate in our first annual pilanthropy, the Beta Bachelorette. The Beta Bechelorette is the Zeta Eta Chapter of Beta The Pi's first signature philanthropy of the new decade, dedicated to raising funds for Breakthrough Silicon Valley, a San Jose based program designed to empower and cultivate the tools that will aid first generation and low-income students to succed in a collegiate setting. Additionlly, Breakthrough Silicon Valley empowers youth from underserved academic counseling,advising, collegiate planning, and leadership development.

SEASON 1 ACTIVITIES

• Day 1: Rose-a-thon and Beta Blizzard.
  Date: April 29th 10am-3pm
  Location(s): 7th Street Plaza and Beta Theta Pi Chapter House.
  Rose-a-thon: Contestants turn in a headshot of themselves, which will beplaced on a viewing platform, which we will provide. We will have a tableon 7th street which will sell paper cut-out roses, which may also bepreordered. Every rose you purchase you place under the contestant youwould like to win. Each rose is 1 point added to be your total philanthropyscore, the points will not be added until the last day of the competition.
• Day 2: Soccer tournament.
  Date: April 30th at 6pm-8pm.
  Location: Mac Gym, SRAC.
  This will be a 6v6 indoor soccer tournament (contestants do not have to play.) Winning team is based on record and championship games. The team must be registered by the 29th of April, with waivers signed and turned in to their fellow captains. Brackets and more tournament info will be released once teams register. Rules will be based on Intramural Indoor Soccer rules.
• Day 3: Lip Sync Battle: Season Finale Via Instagram LIVE
  Date: May 1st
  Description: Beta Theta Pi is known nationally for being a singing Fraternity. Traditionally, we have songs that we sing to our Sweetheart and even a song we sing for when one of our fellow brothers gets married and many more. We won’t be asking for you to show off your vocals, instead a much easier and fun alternative...A LIP SYNC competition! Since “The Bachelorette” is a television series that many of you love to spend your Monday nights watching, you will now have the opportunity to do the same with our philanthropy.
